• To qualify to enter the selection process for this job, you must meet the following minimum criteria.

• Bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

• 4+ years of experience in front-end and back-end web development

• Proficiency in PHP/Laravel, Zend Framework and the MVC, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

• Experience with Magento theme development and WordPress theme development, customization with page builder tools specifically Elementor, and plugin integration.

• Experience with MySQL/Database Management and Version Control/Git

• Good understanding of RESTful APIs

• Good knowledge and experience in Shopify frontend customization

• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch.

• Good understanding of user interface (UI) principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• If you have the following skills/competence, you’ll have a competitive advantage in our selection process compared to others:

• Good understanding of user experience (UX) principles, Design Systems, and best practices.

• A basic understanding of React or any similar mature framework, and PHP/Laravel is a plus.

• Understanding of Zend framework.

• Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented e-commerce Web Developer.

• Customize WordPress/Magento themes to match the desired design aesthetics and functionality.

• Develop and customize WordPress/Magento front-end and back-end design and templates ensuring responsiveness and visual appeal.

• Design and configure e-commerce WordPress/Magento websites using Magento Community Edition and Woo Commerce

• Ensure consistency in design, layout, and functionality across different pages.

• Assist in content integration and conduct quality assurance testing to ensure proper rendering and functionality of the websites

• Contribute to the team`s knowledge base by documenting processes, guidelines, and lessons learned.

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to WordPress websites.

Integration, Optimization and Troubleshooting

• Implement backend functionalities using PHP to enhance the functionality and interactivity of websites

• Integrate third-party plugins and APIs to extend the capabilities of websites

• Optimize website performance, security, and database management using best practices

• Implement frontend optimization techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and caching

• Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistent branding and visual aesthetics across websites

• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure proper functionality and responsiveness across different devices and browsers

Responsive Websites with User Interface Design

• Implement frontend designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on React/Svelte/Astro/Vue.JS framework

• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring consistent design standards and branding guidelines

• Optimize website designs for performance, accessibility, and user experience across various devices and browsers

• Develop visually appealing website layouts, incorporating graphics, images, and other visual elements
