Responsibility & Context

The Website Developer will be responsible for **building, maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting websites for Pathfinder Marketing and its clients**.

The role will primarily involve making website changes based on client and internal requirements, including updating content, modifying layouts, fixing issues, implementing new sections or features, and ensuring websites remain functional and responsive.

You may work across multiple client websites and will need to understand the requested changes, implement them accurately, test your work, and communicate any issues or limitations to the team.

The role is particularly suited to someone who is **hands-on, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of website tasks from request through to completion**.

Important

*WordPress experience is essential.

* Candidates must be comfortable making real-world website changes and troubleshooting issues.

* Experience with Shopify and other CMS platforms is highly advantageous but not mandatory.

* You should be able to work independently while also collaborating with the wider marketing and development team.

* Attention to detail is critical, as website changes need to be implemented accurately without negatively affecting existing functionality.

* Experience with **Elementor/Elementor Pro** is highly desirable.*

Requirements

* Proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
* Ability to confidently make website updates, changes, and improvements.
* Experience working with WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, and basic website functionality.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common website issues.
* Experience with Shopify or other CMS platforms is a strong bonus.
* Understanding of responsive website design and ensuring websites work well across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow design, branding, and functional requirements.
* Ability to work independently and complete website tasks within agreed timelines.

* A degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Technology, or a related field is preferred.
* Relevant certifications or practical training in WordPress, web development, or other CMS platforms are an advantage.
* Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

* 1–2+ years of experience in website development, website maintenance, or a similar role preferred.
* Hands-on experience with WordPress is required.
* Experience making website content, layout, functionality, and design changes.
* Experience working with website plugins, themes, page builders, and integrations.
* Experience with Shopify, Webflow, Wix, or other CMS platforms is a bonus.
* Experience working with digital marketing agencies or managing multiple client websites is highly desirable.
