Educational Requirements:
∎ Technical diploma (any) essential, specialization in water and sanitation desirable

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring the day-to-day implementation and administration of assigned Watsan activities at project level, including but not limited to, water supply, excreta disposal, waste management, vector control, and dead bodies management
∎ Ensuring that the MSF procedures and protocols are followed by the Watsan teams to guarantee the operational quality of the project;
∎ Ensuring the maintenance and repair of technical equipment in the project to guarantee an adequate running of Watsan activities;
∎ Ensuring the distribution of the materials and tools used in water treatment, hygiene and sanitation (e.g. physical organization and inventory of stocks, receiving and processing orders for water, sanita-tion and hygiene material, check that the amounts received are recorded, and check monthly con-sumptions, etc.);
∎ Supporting the Watsan Manager in ensuring an appropriate emergency preparedness and response capacity (physical verification of stocks, contacts, transport means, staff training). Ensuring appro-priate assistance to the project response team and if required, participating in emergency activities or exploratory visits
∎ Supporting the Watsan Manager in the team planning (e.g. staff rosters and admin, HR processes, etc.) and informing and involving the Watsan Manager in case of any major management or technical issue, and providing all required reporting
∎ Planning and supervising the HR processes (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, tasks def-inition and internal and external communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required for the activity
∎ Participating in data collection and reporting as required
∎ Supervision of operation and maintenance in all WatSan infrastructures. These include but are not limited to: Tubewells, Latrines, Water networks and showers.
∎ Supervision of all the operational and maintenance work of camp-21 water network
∎ Supervision of all Operation and maintenance activities in Mega camp.
∎ Regular attending to the CIC coordination and WaSH sector meeting at Camp level and reporting to the Watsan manager.
∎ Reporting on all repairs carried out to the WatSan manager and ensuring that they are done in a timely manner that ensures continuous operation of infrastructure.
∎ Reporting daily yields and outputs from any infrastructure and monitoring the progress of this output. Responding to any change in output by addressing the issue. Therefore ensuring the continued quan-tity and quality of water in the case of water supply projects and ensuring that the community has continuous access to improved sanitation facilities if sanitation.
∎ Monitoring FRC and PH from the tap stands. Create the report based on the data and analyzing the data.
∎ Follow up and make sure schedule of water tank, tap stand cleaning procedure are done properly and reports that to Watsan manager.
∎ As the nature of the operation of WatSan projects is dynamic, the operational maintenance supervi-sor should respond to needs as they arise and ensure a high level of operational flexibility.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1 year experience in technical works and organizing of multiple activities in MSF or similar work environment desirable.
∎ Fluency in English essential. Bangla, Chittagonian desirable
∎ Computer literacy (MS Excel, MS word, Power point) essential

Salary:
∎ Salary according to level Six (06) of the internal MSF salary grid are 64,600 Taka BDT at step "0".

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Contract length twelve months (12 Months with 3 months probationary period).
∎ 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
