∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or B.Sc in Textile Engineering and Technical qualification in Dye process and textile technology/garment engineer will be added advantage.

∎ At least 5 year(s) in a similar position working for/with an European retailer or an exporting Factory.
∎ Currently employed in a similar position with/for an European retailer
∎ Candidates with experience in Dye Process, Dry & Wet process are encouraged to apply.
∎ Fluent in Bangla and English, as well as computer literate.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Shall have experience in garments washing, washing chemical, effect of washing chemical, change of garments shade by changing chemical, and also knowledge in all the process and capability to obtain the result as per the approved sample.
∎ The candidate has to be capable to handle garment dye, create recipes and communicate in case with the buyer.
∎ Strong knowledge in garments dye process.
∎ Strong knowledge in all apparel categories and production methodologies.
∎ Reviews/understands buyer’s tech packs and comments and explain / advise factory the development of garments accordingly.
∎ Work on set target to fits/PP sample and minimizing re-inspection.
∎ Evaluate measurement, workmanship, quality, construction of garments samples
∎ Provide remedial advice to factories on the detected discrepancies with regard to workmanship & shade & construction of garments and also in the case of fabrics on issues like shading, weaving defects, etc.
∎ Maintain liaison with internal Technical Team on a day-to-day basis for obtaining approval on pre-production and production samples to a commercial standard, as specified by our overseas head office
