Educational Requirements:
∎ Textile Graduate in Wet Processing or Textile Technology from a reputed institute
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Evaluate wash houses and have good knowledge of their capacity, capabilities, strengths and weaknesses and improve wash house standards
∎ Go through the technical details of wash and laundries with supplier before production to secure best product with in time shipment
∎ Have close contact with chemical/machinery suppliers & wash houses in order to follow closely what kind of new wash methods and innovation they are working on
∎ Work on development of new wash methods, find out the recipes/ process
∎ Work closely with production team from development stage in order to foresee production bottle necks and quality problems.
∎ Make risk analysis of new wash affects in order to foresee potential problem. Work on alternative solution on recipes/work methods/ supplier in order to achieve best wash results within best quality/lead-time/price
∎ Follow up during sample development for the Wash issues
∎ Conduct production follow up with washing plants and solve problems during bulk production
∎ Source for different washing plants and get the price idea
∎ Co-ordinate with Quality and Merchandising Team to make recipes records
∎ Communicate with Buyer for different type of wash approval
∎ Develop the samples with required wash/treatment along with several proposition
∎ Manage bulk washes, garment washing, finishing, coordination and sampling
∎ Provide day to day development work reports to Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience as a Wash Technician in reputed company working with top brands
∎ Should have hands-on capability on all the dry & wet processing
∎ Should be able to provide chemical recipe to achieve the required garment effect.
∎ Technical knowledge in washing, dyeing and finishing process
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Specially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multi task and remain organized, meet deadlines
