Educational Requirements:
∎ University Degree or above, preferably with major in Apparel Manufacturing & Merchandising/Textile Engineering from reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage wash development, bulk shade band and PP review approval, also review wash formula advised by laundry.
∎ Work with mills, vendors, fabric team and PDC to establish wash standard for wash program.
∎ Fabric bulk dye lot review and provide comments, maintain record.
∎ Accountable for end-to-end wash performance tracking.
∎ Visit and work with mill/vendor and engage them on trouble shooting for any bulk washing issues
∎ Able to assess vendor/laundry’s capability, and provide advice to them for improvement as well as training when it is necessary.
∎ Maintain seasonal standards, shade band approval record and wash library.
∎ Partner with Manager and other key related stakeholders to provide support on other ad-hoc projects/ assignments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years working experience in washing development especially in Denim
∎ Experience in handling Baby/Children-wear products and work close with HK Team will be an advantage.
∎ Ability to engage vendor and build partnerships under challenging environments and tight deadlines.
∎ Used to travel to factory for on-site approval and trouble shooting
∎ Responsible, detail-minded, well organized, systematic, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
∎ Familiar with MS office applications - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
∎ Good command of written and spoken English and capable of providing direction and conveying concepts.
∎ Pass the color evaluation eye testing
∎ The role is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh under normal office environment with some in country travel
Salary: Negotiable
