• Strong understanding of washing quality management, test parameters, and defect prevention.

• Knowledge of washing QMS, internal audits, and process documentation.

• Experience in daily quality operations within a washing unit.

• Ability to coordinate with production, sample, development, and finishing teams.

• Good leadership, communication, and root-cause analysis skills.

A well-established garments washing unit is looking for a Quality Officer / Senior Officer – Quality to ensure consistent washing quality, process discipline, and customer-required standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of washing processes, test parameters, and shift-wise quality control.

• Supervise and guide shift-wise washing quality teams to achieve right-first-time (RFT) results.

• Monitor washing quality checkpoints including shade approval, rubbing/fastness standards, shrinkage, pH, and appearance evaluation.

• Conduct daily counseling and training on QI, SMV, washing defects, and buyer-specific quality requirements.

• Ensure strict implementation of 5S across washing, finishing, and quality workstations.

• Maintain proper lightboxes (D65/TL84) and ensure a clean, controlled evaluation area.

• Directly control washing test parameters—temperature, time, chemicals, liquor ratio, hardness, PPM, etc.—to ensure stable output.

• Inspect and ensure non-conforming garments are not moved to the next finishing step.

• Follow customer standards, wash recipes, and required SOPs for each style and wash type.
