Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. / Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Water Engineering or any other related discipline from a reputed University.
∎ Skills Required: Good in english, MS Office, Reporting, Team management

Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration - 31 December 2020.
∎ WaSH Project Officer - Water supply and Sanitation will manage WASH program smoothly in host community level following the organization policy and strategies.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: Planning and implementation
∎ Ensure implementation of the Hygiene promotional activities based on the proposal and or defined by the manager.
∎ Survey conduction and support other program as required.
∎ Validate the relevance of the intervention area, the selection of beneficiaries.
∎ Plan the activities according to the development of the project.
∎ Follow the activity advancement by regular visits;
∎ Defining the approach and presenting the activities with local stakeholders
∎ Identify and anticipate problems or constrain
∎ Understand context and propose improvement and/or new activities to reach objectives.
∎ Ensure Proper activity report filling
∎ Mission 2: Monitoring and Capacity building
∎ Regular monitor the hygiene promotional activities at field level.
∎ Identify gaps and Needs and ensure volunteers capacity building for session facilitation
∎ Organizing the various day observations with participate activities
∎ Regular follow up and monitoring the WASH activities at field level
∎ Conduct training for different Committee, volunteers and stakeholders in collaboration with local authority and external partners.
∎ Assist to Deputy Program Manager for preparing training budget.
∎ Development of the IEC/ BCC materials and training module considering the context
∎ Mission 4: Effective Collaboration and Cross-cutting Issues
∎ Defining the approach with local stakeholders, other organizations and LGIs.
∎ Develop an approach that create community demand and change community behaviours.
∎ Ensure communication is open between communities and ACF staffs and that feedback from people is reported to Deputy Program Manager.
∎ Mission 5: Reporting
∎ Proper documentation of the received and delivered materials in the field level
∎ Ensure the quality of the materials in the field level or in the base level (if needed)
∎ Ensure the availability and proper use of the materials in the field level
∎ Ensure steps of stock management (stock card, bin card etc.) as per the ACF policy including physical inventory when needed.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 4 years proven technical WASH experience in the field especially in water supply facilities i.e. tube well installation, water supply network establishment, construction of RWHS etc.
∎ Having the proven experience of WASH implementation.
∎ Having the proven experience of conducting assessments related to water quality and set up field surveys
∎ Proven experience in team management, supervision,activity planning, reporting.
∎ Experience in IEC/BCC materials development, sanitary surveys.
∎ Experience in KAP survey facilitation is expected.

Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year;
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year depending on performance;
∎ End of Contract Benefits: As per organizational Policy
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year);
∎ 18 days of paid annual leaves per year.
