Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Ability to smart communicate with people in local language (Cox’s Bazaar).
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal).
∎ Team management, Ability to analyse and synthesize, Ability to work under limited supervision, Dynamism.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Objective 01: Planning and implementation
∎ Ensure day-to-day implementation of the Hygiene promotion activities defined by his/her supervisor.
∎ Assist to line manager to validate the relevance of the intervention area, the selection of beneficiaries.
∎ Implement the plan the activities according to the development of the project.
∎ Follow the activity advancement by regular visits and guide the volunteers based on findings.
∎ Assist in defining the approach and presenting the activities with local stakeholders.
∎ Assist to line manager to understand context and propose improvement and/or new activities to reach objectives.
∎ Ensure user group formation/re-activation for the WASH facilities cleanliness/maintenance.
∎ Organize the camp cleaning and container disinfection campaign weekly/bi weekly at field level.
∎ Ensure Proper activity report, daily/weekly and monthly report filling by following line manager instruction.
∎ Objective 02: Monitor and Capacity Building
∎ Regular monitor the hygiene promotional activities and WASH Volunteers at field level.
∎ Ensure volunteers capacity building training for session/meeting facilitation and communication.
∎ Assist to line manager to organize the various day observations.
∎ Collect daily and bi weekly data from the team and share with line manager.
∎ Organize the training for the Model mother, Block and Sub block level WASH committee.
∎ Objective 03: Conducting and follow up of HP session, WASH Committee and beneficiaries capacity building activities
∎ Regular follow up volunteers activities and conduct HP activities at field level.
∎ Conduct training and monitoring for WASH Committee and beneficiaries.
∎ Assist to WASH Project officer-HP for preparing training budget.
∎ Assist to development of the IEC/ BCC materials and training module.
∎ Ensure training and meeting for the WASH committee, model mother and user group.
∎ Objective 04:  Effective Collaboration and Cross-cutting Issues
∎ Assist to line manager to defining the approach with local stakeholders, other organizations and LGIs.
∎ Assist to line manager to develop an approach that create community demand and change community behaviours.
∎ Ensure communication is open between communities and ACF staffs and that feedback from people is reported to WASH Project Senior Officer.
∎ Ensure mainstreaming of gender and vulnerability involvement in the project.
∎ Objective 05: Reporting
∎ Assist to line manger to ensure proper documentation of the received and delivered materials in the field level.
∎ Ensure the quality of the materials in the field level or in the base level (if needed).
∎ Ensure the availability and proper use of the materials in the field level.
∎ Ensure steps of stock management (stock card, bin card etc.) as per the ACF policy including physical inventory when needed.
∎ Objective 06: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity.
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary.
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities.
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees.
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
