Job Context:
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities of `Warehouse Associate` for the `UNHCR - Shelter project` to ensure the effective implementation of Shelter interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. To monitor the overall work progress of repairing and maintaining temporary shelters as well as monitoring the site development activities to maintain proper coordination between Manager-Shelter & Site Development and the Camp Manager.
∎ Being an implementation partner of UNHCR, the organization is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Improved Shelter Services in the respective working area.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2023.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing Warehouse Operations: The Warehouse associate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility. This includes coordinating and prioritizing tasks such as receiving, storing, and shipping goods, ensuring proper inventory control, and optimizing workflow processes.
∎ Supervising Warehouse Staff: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse personnel. This involves assigning duties, providing training and guidance, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
∎ Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records is a critical aspect of the Warehouse Associate's role. This includes conducting regular stock audits, implementing inventory control measures, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with other departments to fulfill order requirements.
∎ Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination: The Warehouse Associate works closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods. This involves coordinating with transport providers, scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving any logistical issues or delays.
∎ Quality Control: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that products meet the required standards. This includes conducting inspections, identifying quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and working closely with the quality assurance team.
∎ Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring a safe working environment is a crucial responsibility of the Warehouse Associate. This involves enforcing safety guidelines, training staff on safety procedures, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any potential hazards or concerns.
∎ Equipment Maintenance: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, conveyor systems, and storage racks. This includes scheduling routine maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring the availability of necessary equipment for smooth operations.
∎ Data Analysis and Reporting: The Warehouse Associate may be responsible for analyzing warehouse data and generating reports related to key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory levels, order accuracy, and productivity. These reports help in identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions.
∎ Continuous Process Improvement: The Warehouse Associate actively seeks opportunities to improve warehouse operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. This involves implementing process improvements, evaluating new technologies or systems, and staying updated with industry best practices.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in Warehouse Management.
∎ At least two years of experience in Warehouse and inventory management with a total experience of four years after graduation.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
∎ Good communication and networking skills. Fluency in the Local language will get preferences.
