Responsibilities & Context Duty
Project Title: Site Management and Site Development Support Project in Camp-15
Work Station: Camp 15, Rohingya Camp, Ukhiya.
Responsibilities:
Service monitoring and community engagement work related.
Identify and analyze appropriate agriculture technologies suitable for local contexts.
Conducted capacity and skill-building training sessions for women.
Arrange meetings, ensure participation of HHs, enhance the capacity of men and women in advocacy and agro ecology.
Establish linkages between local producers and input suppliers (seeds, fertilizers, etc.).
Maintain strong communication and networking with government and non-government stakeholders to ensure support for site management and site development support.
Ensure drainage cleaning and access repairing in camp area.
Ensure solar panel cleaning in area.
Project Duration: 1st November-2025 to 31 March-2026
Location: Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
Reports to: Project Officer, MBSS.
Contract Duration: 5 months, with the possibility of extension, based on performance and funding.
Work Hours: Full-time, 48 hours per week.
BACKGROUND
Mather Bari Bohumukhi Somaj Kallan Songstha (MBSS) is a newly established initiative dedicated to empowering the Rohingya community in Cox’s Bazar through advocacy,capacity-building, and protection programs. MBSS aims to amplify the voices of the Rohingya in policy dialogues and international forums, with a focus on leadership development, anti-trafficking initiatives, and cultural preservation. MBSS is committed to creating a platform for community-driven advocacy and building partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, UN bodies, and academic institutions.
MBSS is inviting applications from qualified Bangladeshi nationals for the following position, as part of its humanitarian response initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of Rohingya refugees. The organization is committed to promoting dignity, safety, and resilience among the affected communities.
