Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or Masters in Development Studies / Environmental Science/Disaster Management or any other subject of Social Science from any recognized university
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The main purpose of the Volunteer position in EYW team would be
∎ Support in documentation, preparing event report, translating required documents and case story writing.
∎ Support to organize the different events under the project.
∎ Guide and monitor to quality and timely implementation and keeping all the documentation systematically
∎ Keep all the programmatic and financial document and prepare report, etc.
∎ Other support as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for a young professional.:
∎ Work closely with Empower Youth for Work team
∎ Bachelor or Masters in Development Studies / Environmental Science/Disaster Management or any other subject of Social Science from any recognized university
∎ 6 months to 1 years in development sector related to youth and climate change
∎ Essential:
∎ Applicant should have strong verbal and written communication skill both in English and Bangla
∎ Well conversant in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point
∎ Desirable:
∎ Knowledge & experience organizing events
∎ Photography, video Editing and graphics design
∎ Be proactive in anticipating and seeking out information related to the priorities
∎ Key Attributes:
∎ Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities.
∎ Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women's rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.
∎ Commitment to undertake Oxfam's safeguarding training and adherence of relevant policies to ensure all people who come into contact with Oxfam are as safe as possible
Salary:
∎ We will provide an inspirational remuneration for food and local conveyance purpose (BDT. 1000/= for each working day)
