Responsibilities & Context:
Job Title: Video Editor
Employment Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Salary & Benefits
• Salary during first 2 months probation: BDT 7,000 per month
• After successful completion of probation, salary may increase up to BDT 10,000 per month based on performance
Job Responsibilities
• Edit short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels
• Edit long-form documentary-style YouTube content
• Add captions, sound effects, music, transitions, and motion graphics
• Source and organize B-roll, stock footage, screenshots, and visual assets
• Create thumbnails and cover images
• Export videos in the correct formats for different platforms
• Organize project files and maintain a structured workflow
Requirements
• Experience using CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar editing software
• Strong understanding of short-form and long-form video editing
• Knowledge of pacing, storytelling, audience retention, and visual presentation
• Ability to source quality visuals and supporting media
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
