To support our growing Ultrasound (USG) Department, we are looking for a responsible, skilled, and patient-friendly USG Assistant who will assist doctors and sonographers in performing ultrasound examinations and ensure smooth operation of the unit.
Job Responsibilities
Assist radiologists and sonographers in performing USG (Ultrasonography) procedures.
Prepare patients for ultrasound tests and explain the procedure to ensure comfort.
Operate and handle USG equipment under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the ultrasound room and equipment.
Record and organize patient details, test information, and reports accurately.
Ensure proper handling and safety of diagnostic machines and accessories.
Manage patient flow and scheduling efficiently to reduce waiting time.
Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
Coordinate with the front desk and report delivery section for smooth operations.
Report any technical problems or machine issues to the supervisor or biomedical department.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional behavior.
