Bangladesh Association for Community Education (BACE) is a non-government organization established in Bangladesh from 1977 with aim to develop poor and vulnerable people living condition in Bangladesh. Now BACE is involved to creating access of low-cost quality medical treatment for poor and vulnerable people of Sonargaon, Narayangonj district. To achieve this goal BACE has established “BACE Integrated Hospital (BIH)” at Sonargaon (Near Folk Museum). BACE is looking for a Medical Technologist (Radiologist & Imaging) for the hospital.

Responsibilities & Context
Operation and maintenance (Schedule and Emergency)
Plain X-Ray, portable X-Ray, CR machine imaging Preparing examination rooms
Setting the correct voltage, current, and exposure time on X-ray units (including digital systems like CR/DR) based on the patient`s body part and physician requests.
Reviewing the captured images immediately to verify clarity, sharpness, and correct anatomy before submitting them to radiologists.
Conducting daily equipment tests and calibrations to ensure the machines are functioning optimally.
Maintaining accurate patient registries, logging procedure details, and preparing statistical summaries of operational activities in the Radiology Unit.
Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients ‘comfort. Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences to adjust the density or contrast.
Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.
Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients` records.
Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
