We are looking for experienced and skillful individuals for the above position. A resident physician is a licensed medical doctor undergoing specialized training or practicing under senior supervision in a hospital and a resident surgeon is a licensed medical doctor undergoing specialized surgical training in a hospital. They are responsible for direct patient care, including diagnosing illnesses, managing treatment plans, performing clinical procedures, and supporting the day-to-day operations of clinical wards and outpatient clinics. Resident surgeon act as the primary on-site medical contact for surgical patients.
Patient Care & Management: Take medical histories, perform physical exams, and manage the daily care of patients in inpatient wards or outpatient clinics.
Clinical Duties: Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, interpret results, and update treatment plans.
Treatment Plans: Developing, implementing, and modifying ongoing treatment and care plans.
Round Participation: Conducting daily or routine ward rounds with senior doctors and visiting consultants to review patient progress.
Medical Records: Ensuring accurate, complete medical documentation, including inpatient discharge summaries and referral letters.Work under the guidance of attending physicians or consultants. Assist in educating and training junior doctors or medical students.
Administrative & Communication: Maintain accurate medical records, handle discharge summaries, and regularly update patients' families on their conditions.
Emergency Response: Respond to acute medical emergencies and participate in after-hours on-call duties.
Pre-Operative Care: Conduct physical exams, review medical histories, interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs), and evaluate surgical risks.
Operative Duties: Assist attending surgeons in the operating room (OR) and perform elective or emergency procedures commensurate with their level of training and supervision.
Post-Operative Management: Prescribe medications and diets, monitor recovery, manage complications, and write discharge summaries
Procedures: Performing essential clinical procedures such as venipuncture, IV line insertion, catheterization, and basic surgical or medical procedures
Any other job assigned by management.
