∎ General Experience: At least 15 years of professional experience in the urban development sector, with a focus on integrating digital technologies into planning and public engagement processes.
∎ Specific Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience using technology for urban planning and stakeholder engagement, demonstrated through a portfolio of projects that include public participation tools and citizen-centered engagement formats.
∎ Development Cooperation Experience: At least 6 years of experience working on development cooperation projects, emphasizing technology-enhanced solutions for urban development. Must have at least 2 years of experience working on initiatives focused on development cooperation with international or development organizations.
∎ Regional Experience: Preferable experience collaborating with LGED, city corporations, or municipalities in Bangladesh, contributing to urban planning and governance projects.
∎ Inclusivity Training: Proven experience engaging with vulnerable groups and a history of participation in at least two training sessions related to gender and inclusiveness, ensuring a strong understanding of equitable project implementation.
∎ Ability to communicate in English and Bangla language effectively, both oral and writing.
∎ Able to report writing
∎ Have adequate computer knowledge on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, power point and capable to use Internet.
∎ Able to summarize the results or observation.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Project Duration: 15 months.
∎ Assist the Lead Consultant in the coordination, planning, and execution of all project milestones, ensuring smooth and effective delivery of project objectives.
∎ Provide expertise in urban planning with a focus on climate resilience and sustainable development, contributing to strategic planning and implementation efforts that promote long-term urban sustainability.
∎ Incorporate digital technologies into project processes, especially for enhancing public engagement and participatory activities. Develop and manage digital platforms like Good Grants to facilitate idea submissions and enable active public participation.
∎ Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of digital platforms to support engagement and collaboration, ensuring user-friendly and efficient interfaces for stakeholders.
∎ Work closely with other experts to integrate and facilitate the use of technology in participatory workshops and sessions. Organize and execute workshops focused on urban development, climate resilience, and community involvement, promoting best practices and stakeholder engagement.
∎ Design and implement strategies to integrate urban development initiatives within existing municipal structures. Collaborate with municipal authorities to ensure project activities align with local governance and urban planning priorities.
∎ Collect and manage digital data, ensuring proper documentation and its use in project reporting, communication, and the sharing of best practices. Ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting on project outcomes and the effectiveness of participatory approaches.
∎ Educational Requirements
