Job Context:
∎ Resource Integration Centre (RIC) is a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC have been implemented Shongzog project- aims to increase use of access to Post-Partum Family Planning (PPFP) and to improved coverage & timing of PNC among First-Time Parents (FTPs) between 15-24 years of age. The project is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and technical support will be provided by Save the Children International in Bangladesh. The project`s implementation areas are kabirhat, Companigonj, Begumgonj and Subarnochar upazila under Noakhali district. RIC is seeking application from the potential candidate for the below mentioned positions:
∎ Job Location: At Union level/Any Union under Noakhali District.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ 5 years of working experience related to health rights project and closely work with health and Family planning department.
∎ Required knowledge using computers on MS Word, Excel & Internet browsing.
∎ Knowledge of Community/social mobilization, community engagement and rights-based approach.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and experience with developing working relations with government, community leader/gatekeepers, guardians, male partners and other development partners.
∎ Ability to present information clearly to a range of people.
∎ Able to overcome social gender and cultural barrier on MNH specially PNC and PPFP.
∎ Familiar with women reproductive age especially married adolescent (with child), family planning especially PPFP, access to it, unintended pregnancy especially among adolescent.
∎ Familiar with Youth friendly services especially adolescent first-time parents.
Salary: Tk. 34500 (Monthly)
