Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the supervision of the Head of Communications, the Translator will perform the following responsibilities:
∎ Provide spoken translations during interviews and donor visits;
∎ Provided written translations in word, pdf, and publisher files;
∎ Transcribe/translate video and audio interviews from the field;
∎ Proof read and edit documents;
∎ Incorporate changes to material as necessary;

Additional Requirements:
∎ This role is for a professional translator with minimum two to four years' work experience, including experience working in a humanitarian context.
∎ Knowledge & Skills:
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English and Rohingya/Chittagonian
∎ Advanced knowledge of Burmese is desired
∎ Excellent attention to detail
∎ Proven ability to work with vulnerable populations and accurately translate their stories
∎ Ability to use design programmes such as canva, publisher, and photoshop
∎ Excellent coordination and organisational skills

Salary: Tk. 77466 (Monthly)
