Position Overview:
PalmPay Bangladesh is seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Team Lead (Sales) to design, implement, and manage training programs for the sales team nationwide.
This role is critical in ensuring that all sales personnel are equipped with the necessary product knowledge, sales techniques, compliance awareness, and field execution capabilities to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Strategy & Execution:
· Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies aligned with sales objectives and business goals
· Design onboarding training programs for new Sales Consultants and continuous development programs for existing team members
· Conduct regular training sessions (classroom & field-based) on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement
Content Development & Improvement:
· Create and update training materials, manuals, SOPs, and digital learning content
· Customize training modules based on regional performance gaps and business needs
· Incorporate feedback from field teams and sales managers to continuously improve training effectiveness
Field Training & Performance Support:
· Conduct field visits to observe sales activities and provide hands-on coaching
· Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training interventions
· Work closely with Regional Managers and Territory Managers to improve team performance
Team Management:
· Lead and manage the training team (if applicable), ensuring effective delivery of training programs
· Set KPIs for trainers and monitor their performance
· Ensure consistency and quality across all training sessions
Monitoring & Reporting:
· Track training effectiveness using KPIs such as sales performance, conversion rates, and retention
· Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports
· Provide regular reports to senior management on training outcomes and impact
Compliance & Process Alignment:
· Ensure all sales staff are trained on company policies, compliance requirements, and ethical sales practices
· Align training programs with internal SOPs and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance (BBA/MBA preferred)
Experience:
· 3–5 years in sales training, with at least 1 year in a leadership role, ideally within Fintech, Banking, or Mobile Retail
Skills & Competencies:
· Deep understanding of consumer lending, credit scoring, and the mobile handset market.
· Strong understanding of sales processes and field operations
· Excellent training, presentation, and facilitation skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
· Ability to analyze performance data and identify training needs
· Leadership and team management capability
· High level of adaptability and problem-solving skills
