Project-specific Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and arrangement of training activities under the guidance of the Project Manager
Communicate with potential participants and confirm their attendance
Ensure gender balance among participants as per project guidelines
Manage logistical support such as food and transport allowances for participants
Conduct pre- and post-assessments and maintain disability-disaggregated training data
Facilitate training sessions according to the approved schedule and curriculum
Prepare training reports ensuring age, gender, and disability disaggregated data.
Mobilize participants through collaboration with DPOs, educational institutions, and consortium networks
Take initiative in planning and launching sub-activities for capacity building
Assist trainers/resource persons in delivering effective training sessions
Contribute to the design of training modules and session plans
Coordinate with consortium partners to assess training needs and finalize schedules
Participate in safeguarding training sessions and conduct safeguarding risk assessments for all training activities
Implement appropriate mitigation strategies for safeguarding risks
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.

The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD’s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.

CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Training Officer’ under a project title Resilient Inclusive Support for Education in Sharankhola (RISE) to be implemented with the supported by Sightsavers.
The position is based in CDD Head Office, Savar, Dhaka. The duration of the project is till 31st March 2028. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
