Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters degree in any discipline from any recognised university/ institutions with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct capacity development training and workshops for community groups, city corporation and municipality officials
∎ Ensure yearly targets for training and workshops are achieving maintaining a high standard
∎ Assist in capacity development needs assessment of city corporation and municipality officials, elected local representatives, community groups, youth and adolescents
∎ Designing and expanding training methods based on the needs of the organisation and the individual
∎ Keeping the training expert by considering the costs of planned activities
∎ Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes using surveys, questionnaires, interviews and observation, in order to plan future courses or to amend existing ones
∎ Ensure delivery of e-learning packages with the help of BRAC ICT by the understanding of e-learning techniques
∎ Maintain necessary documentation and prepare monthly training reports
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field
∎ Have knowledge on training and facilitation methods, tools and techniques, contemporary development issues especially in the context of Bangladesh
∎ Have knowledge on urbanisation, urban poverty and urban development, urban governance structure and processes, gender and women empowerment
∎ Have excellent presentation and communication skills
