Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in tailoring or handicraft products making sector.
• Work experience in emergency response project/ Rohingya camps.
• Education minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent degree from the technical or vocational institutes. 
• Must be able to speak the local Chittagong language.                
• Training or short curse on product design, pattern cutting, and sewing machine management.
• Technical expertise of running and maintain industrial sewing Machine.
• An affinity with low-income consumers and producers.               
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Bengali.
• Female candidates are strongly preferred.

• Plan on making carry bags from different processed materials like aluminum foil.

• Developing new designs for bags and craft items.

• Keep update the production and raw materials stock book. Maintain the storeroom.

• Conduct skill development training for participants.

• Developing criteria and assist Community Mobilizers in the field to select potential beneficiaries for taking part in the training.    

• Ensuring procurement of all training materials (sewing machines and other materials) in consultation with the Designer’.     

• Proper maintain of the production area and all participants.  

• Organize non-residential tailoring training courses/ refresher training sessions at camp level for the Rohingya beneficiaries.

• Ensuring proper maintenance of the sewing machines.    

• Supervise the bag making process of the trainees and keep records of the amount of production per day.     

• Ensuring availability of processed materials for the trainees for bag production. 

• Quality check of everyday production.

• Participate in meetings, events organized by other stakeholders and represent the project and Cordaid properly.

• Prepare and submit reports monthly/ weekly as required by the projects and the supervisors.

• The duties and responsibilities may change as per requirements.    

• Timely reporting as per the donor and organizational requirement.     

• Maintain risk register and follow the feedback of the donor as well as Cordaid Dhaka office.

• Ensure integrity policy of both donor and Cordaid.

• Follow and ensure the safety security policy

• Weekly 2 holidays,Medical allowance

Monthly Salary Including Provident Fund & Gratuity.
