∎ Cordaid former (ICCO Cooperation) is a leading INGO working for securing sustainable livelihoods and justice & dignity for all in Bangladesh since 1972. We established an office in Cox`s Bazar following the Rohingya influx to the area from August 2017. Our interventions in Cox`s Bazar are in self-reliance, livelihoods, food assistance, social enterprise, environment protection and DRR with both the host community and the Rohingya population.
∎ To implement the self-reliance and environment protection project, we are looking for an experienced and potential Tailoring-Master to provide tailoring training for the project beneficiaries.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some extra hours to meet the deadline/ attending meetings/ special events etc.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
∎ Yearly renewable contract based on fund availability and performance.
∎ Have to follow Coraid HR, Admin and Finance related policy.
∎ Duration of contract is till December 2020 (with the possibility of extension depending on fund availability).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 03 years of work experience in running tailoring shop business
∎ Must be able to speak the local dialect /Chittagong language.
∎ This position is only for Female.
∎ Experience with NGOs development work preferred.
∎ Punctual and good at time management and strong relationship building skills
∎ Understanding of protection issues facing our beneficiaries.
∎ An affinity with low-income consumers and producers.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in Bengali.
∎ Willingness to drive motorcycle with valid license will be an added value for the position.
