Job Context:
∎ Job Location: ASK office- Dhaka with extensive travels at different project districts, Upazila & Union level
∎ Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) is currently looking for a Trainer- Gender Based Violence(GBV) for the `ASTHA -Strengthening Access to Multi-sectoral Public Services for GBV Survivors in Bangladesh` project (April 2018 to December 2021). ASTHA is working to support and connect GBV survivors to multi-sectoral public services by contributing its two outcomes: 1) increases access to multi-sectoral response for survivors of GBV and 2) increased positive attitudes among community members about harmful gender norms and behaviors that perpetuate violence. ASTHA is funded by the Embassy of The Netherlands, implemented by ASK and UNFPA through involving the partner organization working in the local level.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct training need assessment, design and customize training modules, curriculums, manuals, other training materials, different project guideline and prepare training completion report;
∎ Facilitate training, consultative meetings, workshop with project staff, relevant GOB staff and other potential project stakeholder;
∎ Capacity building of the case workers, case manager on GBV case management, referral linkage, facilitation skill
∎ Monitoring of training results, perform regular follow up to building staff and stakeholder capacity on counseling;
∎ Provide training, orientation to the police officers, health service providers and other multi-sector department as per project need;
∎ Prepare report on capacity areas both staff and stakeholders, and other project reports
∎ Monitoring of training and capacity building activities of the respective project areas;
∎ Represent the organization and maintain liaison with national and district level forum of different NGOs, GoB and other program stakeholder;
∎ Maintain positive coordination and relationships with partner and other sector staff;
∎ Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies;
∎ Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor;
∎ Reportable: Team Leader, ASTHA Project

Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have at least 7 years’ experience in the related field.
∎ Age at most 45 years ( age limit could be relaxed for highly experienced candidate)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the area of NGO sectors.
∎ Knowledge and experience to work on gender based violence related project
∎ Experience to prepare training module, guidelines, hand books etc and training plan, budget and training report
∎ Willingness to travel at least 50% time across the project areas and organizing/ facilitating/monitoring training in rural areas.
∎ Applicant should have good computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
∎ Typing skill in BANGAL is must, fluency of typing Bangla and English is essential

∎ Monthly gross salary BDT. 60000.00 Consolidate
