Must have good expertise on Microsoft Officer as well as experience of handling core banking system and related business intelligence.

Oversee day-to-day activities related all Foreign Trade operations of the branch, including Import, Export, and Foreign Remittance (Inward & Outward), ensuring compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, UCPDC, URC, URR, ISBP, and other applicable foreign exchange guidelines.
Process and approve Import Letters of Credit (L/Cs), Back-to-Back L/Cs, Amendments, Shipping Guarantees, and related trade transactions after ensuring proper documentation, regulatory compliance, and realization of applicable commissions, charges, and taxes.
Handle lodgment, scrutiny, and settlement of import documents, ensuring timely retirement of bills and monitoring outstanding, overdue, and matured L/C liabilities.
Examine and negotiate export documents in compliance with L/C terms and international trade rules, ensuring timely realization and repatriation of export proceeds.
Monitor importers’ and exporters’ business activities, transaction patterns, and foreign trade performance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify potential business opportunities and risks.
Review, authorize, and process foreign trade transactions within delegated authority while ensuring adherence to the Bank’s policies, procedures, and risk management framework.
Maintain close liaison with customers, correspondent banks, regulatory authorities, and Head Office to facilitate smooth execution of foreign trade transactions and resolve operational issues.
Conduct periodic visits to exporters’ factories, business premises, and operational sites to assess business activities.
Handle internal audits, external audits, Bangladesh Bank inspections, and compliance reviews related to Foreign Trade operations, ensuring timely resolution of observations and implementation of corrective actions.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of all regulatory returns, statements, reports, and MIS relating to Foreign Trade activities to Head Office, Bangladesh Bank, and other concerned authorities.
Maintain proper records, documentation, and archiving of Foreign Trade transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s policies.
Any other work / responsibility as and when assigned by the supervisor or Management of the Bank.
