Thai Chef – Job Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes according to standard recipes.
Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portion control of all Thai menu items.
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety at all times.
Manage daily kitchen operations related to Thai cuisine.
Monitor food stock, ingredients, and place orders when necessary.
Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs.
Ensure proper storage of raw and cooked food items.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff in Thai cooking techniques.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
Follow restaurant policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
Assist in developing new Thai menu items when required.
Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
