Experience:
Diploma/Bachelor's in Textile/Fashion Design or Bachelor' in any subject from any reputed University or institute.
National Skills Certification of NSDA/BTEB will add preference.
Knowledge:
● Knowledge on relevant vocational trade, livelihood, coordination, monitoring, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding.
● Knowledge on people management.

Technical Trainer will facilitate non-formal and center-based Tailoring and Dressmaking training to the selected Rohingya youths following the training module. This position will support the implementation of day to day activities according to proposal & plan in camps of the Rohingya community.
Select project participants as per project criteria and ensure mentoring of the selected participants.
Prepare training materials and hand note for the successful conduction of the training.
Provide training as per the training module
Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on tailoring, dressmaking, cutting, stitching, and finishing.
Train participants in using sewing machines, cutting tools, and tailoring accessories safely.
Provide guidance on fabric selection, measurement techniques, and pattern making.
Conduct training and monitor the performance of participants.
Conduct training appraisal through assessment of the participants.
Monitor participants’ progress, maintain attendance, and prepare training reports.
Assist in maintaining inventory of tailoring equipment, tools, and raw materials.
Performing Community Feedback and Response Mechanism functions.
Provide safeguarding, PSEA, and CFRM awareness sessions weekly to the participants.
Recruitment of volunteers in the skills centers.
Establish a vision/dream among the participants about post-training work engagement.
Coordinate and assist Center in Charge, Project Officer-Market Linkage in monthly payments to volunteers, participants, laborers and others.
Supervision of the skills center volunteers.
Ensure continuous monitoring of the training courses to identify issues, gaps, and find proper solutions.
Showcase the best practices of livelihood activities and disseminate the best technologies among the project beneficiaries for income generation.
Prepare daily and weekly reports as may be required by BRAC and the donor agency.
Contribute to the project's M&E system and ensure that M&E activities are undertaken regularly and learning fed into management for decision making.
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
