Experience:
Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent technical qualification in Handicrafts, Arts and Crafts, Design, or related field from any government approved recognized institution.
Candidates having prior relevant experience will be preferred.

The Technical Trainer – Handicrafts will conduct competency-based training on handicraft production, ensuring participants acquire practical skills, understand product quality standards, and develop basic entrepreneurial capacities necessary for income-generating activities.
Conduct practical and theoretical training on handicraft production.
Deliver competency-based and participatory training sessions following approved curricula.
Demonstrate various handicraft techniques and supervise practical exercises.
Ensure trainees acquire skills in producing marketable handicraft products.
Train participants on handmade decorative items, jute, bamboo, and recycled-material crafts, beadwork and jewelry making, handmade bags, purses, and accessories, home décor items, traditional handicraft products relevant to local market demand and product finishing, quality control, and packaging techniques.
Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, and training materials.
Maintain attendance records and trainee performance tracking.
Conduct pre- and post-training assessments.
Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of training tools and materials.
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
