The Technical Trainer – Block, Boutique and Screen Printing will deliver practical and competency-based training to Rohingya participants, enabling them to develop marketable skills in textile decoration and printing techniques while promoting product quality, creativity, and income-generation opportunities.

  • Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on block printing, boutique work, and screen printing.

  • Deliver training using competency-based and participatory learning methodologies.

  • Prepare training lesson plans, practical exercises, and demonstrations.

  • Develop and prepare designs, patterns, stencils, and printing layouts for block, boutique, and screen-printing applications.

  • Select and prepare fabrics and materials, including fabric treatment, screen preparation, and coating processes.

  • Apply block printing, tie-dye, wax-resist, boutique, and screen-printing techniques to produce high-quality textile products.

  • Mix and match colors, prepare dyes and inks, and perform printing and dyeing processes according to design specifications.

  • Conduct drying, washing, finishing, and product enhancement activities to ensure durability and market readiness.

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot printing tools, screens, wooden blocks, and related equipment.

  • Ensure product quality control, identify and rectify printing defects, and maintain consistency in production standards.

  • Promote efficient production practices, proper material utilization, and adherence to occupational health and safety standards.

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
