∎ The Opportunity: The Technical Specialist will support through overseeing Education in Emergencies project activities in Cox`s Bazar refugee camps and host community, with a focus on (1) excellent program implementation, including timely activity implementation according to plan and routine monitoring against agreed indicators, (2) frequent field monitoring in order to provide regular project progress updates and monitoring program activities according to the plan (3) technical support in delivery of training & capacity building activities, developing teaching-learning materials, remedial learning packages, Interactive Radio Instructions (IRI), Alternative Learning modalities and E-learning courses etc. S/he will also provide day-to-day oversight to the project(s) and coordinate between SCI and consortium and/or implementing partners. S/he will actively monitor Education activities with selected education sector and/or implementation partners, ensuring projects technical and other interventions/activities are delivered on time and on budget, and that delays or issues with implementation are flagged immediately, and corrective actions are taken.
