Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 15 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Program Officer of GFATM funded "Prioritized HIV prevention and treatment services for key populations in Bangladesh" Program through Save the Children covering Bangladesh. It`s a Project Office based position.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Technical Specialist [Program], based in Project Management Unit [PMU] at consortium project office, Dhaka, shall provide leadership, guidance, and overall direction on the planning and implementation of overall program, outreach, advocacy and training; government integration related activities for the GF-NFM- III -Female Sex Worker Intervention, implementing by Dhaka Ahsania Mission [DAM] Consortium. Reporting to the Joint Director, DAM and Team Leader of DAM Consortium, the Specialist will play a key consultative role for all project office and Drop-In-Center/Outlet based staffs, consortium partners on issues related to HIV and STI prevention and Treatment activities. The Specialist will provide leadership and technical expertise in advocacy, training, outreach and event management for the consortium project office through supporting the respective personnel of the PMU.
∎ In collaboration with SSR, CBOs and other collaborative partners, overseeing the implementation of The Global Fund Supported Female Sex Worker Intervention, managed by DAM;
∎ Overseeing the achievement of programme results by ensuring that monitoring and oversight mechanisms are in implementation in an effective manner;
∎ Establishing and maintaining mutually respectful relationships with SSR, CBO/strategic partners, other GO/NGO program collaborative development partners within the program areas to facilitate timely and efficient delivery of programmes;
∎ Contributing to effective coordination related to HIV/SRHR/GBV and gender equality in the working area by being actively involved in key coordination meetings.
∎ Providing high level technical support to the program team and partners (CBOs; SSR, Strategic partners) when needed, which includes program and outreach management; compliance and conflict management; HR and admin management; capacity building and use of effective data in decision making, strengthening district level coordination, etc.
∎ Assessing implications of new policy developments and strategies on programme execution, and ensuring their integration.
∎ Ensuring effective knowledge management strategies are implemented by the programme team, capturing lessons learned and best practices for future planning; addressing training needs of partners and staff.
∎ Coordinate and arrange capacity building events under the FSWI, DAM Consortium
∎ Support DTL in arranging all national level advocacy/coordination meeting and provide TA to DIC/Outlet team in executing the plan of similar at district and community level.
∎ Providing administrative oversight
∎ Facilitating professional development of staff and promote their safety and well-being;
∎ Performs other assignments as suggested by the supervisor
∎ policies as applicable;
∎ Report to safeguarding focal person for any allegation or concerns on the violation of the safe guarding policy in relation to project staffs, organizational staffs, vendors and volunteers is raised. Beside will play major role in relevant awareness building training/orientation with in the team mates and others as necessary as well as will cooperate and support for establishing the safe guarding mechanism with the project.
∎ Liaising with the Joint Director DAM & Team Leader, FSWI, DAM Consortium to strengthen PMU Office support to drop-in-centers and staff;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 7 years of experience in relevant fields.
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team.
∎ Strong organizational and financial management skills.
∎ Have good knowledge of HIV/AIDA.
∎ Experience of donor supported Project.
∎ Good computer skills on Microsoft Office Tools, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point.
∎ Work experience in the area of NGO Sector.
∎ Applicants must have COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
∎ Age at most 45 years (Age may be considered for experienced candidate).

Salary:
∎ Tk. 75000 (Monthly)
∎ Other benefits will be added as per project provision.
