Job Context:
∎ Concern Worldwide invites application for the following position for its Monsoon Flood Recovery (MFRP) Project:
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed Term starting from 01 December 2019 to 31 May 2020
∎ Job Purpose: S/he will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient implementation of project activities in the field with the partner NGOs. S/he will work closely with partner NGO (ASOD) staff and give technical inputs/guidance as appropriate.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communicating to the team a clear target for the Project and for the role of the team in delivering the project for the beneficiaries.
∎ Ensuring that the partner NGO (ASOD) staff fully understand the outcomes that are expected of them and that they are aware of the success criteria, which pertain to the project.
∎ Ensuring a house to house survey is carried out in selecting the appropriate beneficiaries, as per the project proposal, and that at least 50% of the selected beneficiaries are verified to confirm appropriate selection.
∎ Ensuring any misconduct /money transaction for selecting beneficiaries are not taking place and any variations are reported on time to the PC with mitigation measures.
∎ Ensuring the coordination with other consortium members / NGOs / Govt on issues such as, but not limited to, avoiding any duplication in selecting beneficiaries or villages or any other issues.
∎ Ensuring the coordination and communication with DC, UNO, local govt (formal), Concern management and other stake holders in advance by sharing detail plan.
∎ Ensuring the print and electronic media people are invited to the distribution centre(s) for necessary coverage.
∎ Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's Code of Conduct and its associated safeguarding policies and Core Humanitarian Standards of Accountability (CHS) to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries, and to welcome feedback.
∎ Ensure that the Complaint Response Mechanism is established within the project and remain functional throughout the Project Cycle Management (PCM).
∎ Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Country Director/Programmes Director or the line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years progressively responsible work experience in the area of emergency response and recovery programmes including deal with Cash transfer and ensure project accountability within a development organisation/NGO
∎ Experience of participatory programme planning, management, implementation, monitoring in at least three early recovery project would be an advantage
∎ Experience in working through partners (NGO/GO).
