∎ The Opportunity:
∎ The incumbent will work directly with the Senior Manager of Media and Communications to identify and proactively develop relationships with influential Bangladesh media (Cox`s Bazar), and write/provide guidance on newsworthy press materials for both national and international media.
∎ The incumbent will also support the Consortium Manager by overseeing ECW-funded project communications activities playing a pivotal role in coordinating and executing. H/she will produce quality information and documentation targeted at both internal and external audiences. Internal communications will focus on updating the project and overall response situation report, providing updates for the team leader when needed. External communications will focus on the coordination and the production of donor briefing papers. S/he will be further responsible for collecting photos, case studies, and success stories and documenting programs when needed. S/he will also be responsible for coordinating high-level visits in particular and other content-gathering visits.
∎ The incumbent will also work closely with the Media and Communications colleagues in the Asia Regional Office.
