Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to the consortium partner’s technical team and Implementing Partner (IP) team on market system development, facilitation process by involving private sectors and other service providers.
∎ Strengthen local market system by understanding the market constraints, assists the IP team to facilitate logical interventions.
∎ Assists to develop Detailed Implementation Plan and lead in field implementation in the assigned areas. Monitor periodical progress and adjusting with the plan. Make sure that deliverable achieved in time
∎ Provide technical and managerial support to the iDE team, consortium partner technical team and IP team with active field observe, listening, analyzing the situation and assist in decision making
∎ Provide continuous inputs and support for improving the tools and guidelines for implementing planned activities
∎ Understand the Monitoring and Result Measurement (MRM) system, result chain and understand the logic of the interventions
∎ Organize capacity building training on different/identified market development topics and pay to follow up support to the IP teams
∎ Implement a variety of Income Generating Activities (IGA) implementation, entrepreneur development, market linkage and business development activities related to on and off-farm product value chain;
∎ Present progress report and other reports on a regular basis document the key learning & findings.
∎ Work with private companies, dealers, retailer, project participants and other related market players for program planning and effective implementation.
∎ Capacity building of targeted clients, counterparts, service providers, private sector and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Networking, linkages and relationships building with relevant stakeholders (PSAs, GOBs, etc.)
∎ Develop a professional relationship with field level staff of all Consortium partners.
∎ Develop good relation and linkages with all relevant stakeholders (UNO, LG rep, Regional/ Upazila PSAs, DAE, DOF, DLS, Local community leader, etc.)
∎ Organize and facilitate different training for IP staff e.g. Rapid Market Appraisal, Bigger Picture Analysis, Business Planning training, etc.
∎ Establish Business group and Collection point at the community.
∎ Ensure effective mentoring support for partner staff.
∎ Participate to carry on MRM system and ensure learning documentation and reporting as per required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to present coherent and convincing messages to different audiences;
∎ Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, good understanding of market development approach (M4P);
∎ Ability to interact and collaborate with a broad range of public and private sectors and NGO partners;
∎ Good planning and organizing abilities,
∎ Proficiency in use of computer i.e. MS office, e-mail, Google apps etc.
∎ Ability to manage the financial and administrative system with cost-effective manner.
∎ Performance management and staff development skills, understand the roles of different actors in market development and private sectors engagement.
∎ Must have a valid driving license and willing to work under pressure in remote areas.
Salary: Tk. 57000 - 60000 (Monthly)
