Responsibilities & Context:
Monitor herd health and investigate disease to ensure proper treatment and regular follow-up of all farm animals.
Attend night time calving.
Perform Rectal palpation, AI, pregnancy diagnosis and solve reproductive problems as per protocol.
Ensure proper calf and calving management, solve dystocia, ensure proper calf feeding, deworming, vaccination, and calf health.
Perform emergency medical care and major-minor surgical procedures to save animals.
Ensure farm Biosecurity and perform scheduled vaccination, deworming, and disinfection routinely.
Ensure Hoof health management, perform hoof trimming, find lame cows, and ensure proper care.
Record keeping, and analysis of farm data to help decision-making.
Monitor feeding and ensure feeding of all animals as per protocol.
Communicate with buyers and sellers regarding animal sales or purchases and keep records.
Communicate with other concerns regarding material supply and ensure availability of farm supplies.
