• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home working environment

We are a group of companies operating within the property and digital services sectors, with a growing portfolio and an expanding operations team. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Backend Developer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to support our ongoing and upcoming projects.

Location

Bangladesh (Hybrid – Remote & Office)Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (BD Time)

Salary: Up to BDT 35,000 per month (with standard benefits)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver technical projects across all Verv brands

• Translate business and management requirements into clear technical tasks

• Own and maintain project boards (Kanban, timelines, priorities)

• Break down large initiatives into structured tasks and milestones

• Prioritise work based on business impact, urgency, and dependencies

• Coordinate work between developers, SQA, and management

• Ensure all tasks move through Development → QA → Management approval → Live

• Reduce management involvement in day-to-day technical coordination

• Ensure developers clearly understand requirements before work begins

• Review completed work with QA feedback before presenting to management

• Prevent incomplete or unclear work from being marked as resolved

• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and proactively resolve them

• Track delivery progress, timelines, and resource allocation

• Coordinate releases, deployments, and production changes

• Ensure technical documentation and handover notes are kept up to date

• Maintain visibility over technical debt and improvement backlogs

• Drive continuous improvement across systems, workflows, and user experience

• Proactively propose innovative features, workflows, and technical solutions

• Use AI tools to support ideation, research, optimisation, and delivery

• Research competitor platforms and market trends regularly

• Identify opportunities to outperform competitors through better features, UX, or automation

• Translate innovative ideas into actionable technical roadmaps

• Support front-end UI, UX, performance, and system improvement initiatives

• Ensure scalability, stability, security, and maintainability are considered

• Hold technical teams accountable for quality, delivery, and deadlines

Provide clear weekly and monthly progress updates to management
