Job Context:
∎ Samaj Kallayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. Since the 2017, SKUS has been working on Rohingya refugee influx in Cox`s Bazar district in the field of Education, health, Child protection, GBV, MHPSS and SRHR among the Children, adolescents, women, and men with support from different international donors, including UN agencies.
∎ Recently SKUS has signed an agreement with Plan International Bangladesh to implement a project lilted "Lifting Healthy, Empowered and Protected Girls and Women in Cox`s Bazar (LEAP)` at Rohingya Camps in Ukhia Upazila and the Host community of Ukhia Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District.. SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of Technical Officer- SHRH for the project mentioned above supported by Plan International Bangladesh.
∎ Plan International Bangladesh is the lead of this consortium project with HOPE Foundation for Women and Children of Bangladesh (HOPE), Partners in Health and Development (PHD), Samaj Kallyan O Unnayan Sangstha (SKUS), and Mukti Cox`s Bazar which funded by the Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and technical supported by Plan International Bangladesh. LEAP will employ a comprehensive, integrated programmatic approach by engaging a variety of stakeholders and facilitating gender- and adolescent-responsive and inclusive (GARI), Sextual and Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR), Sextual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services by strengthening government health systems, including establishing/strengthening referral linkages (from community to health facilities and between different sectors) to bring transformative change among the most at-risk adolescent girls and young women in host communities and camps.
∎ The Technical Officer-SRHR is a technical position for Plan International Bangladesh to advance the realization of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of adolescent`s girls and young women (AGYW) in all their diversity in Cox`s Bazar host communities and refugee camps. This position requires technical skills, provide technical guideline to the respective partner organizations. The job holder will maintain close coordination/functional relationship with technical team of Plan International, concerned authority, institutions/departments and like-minded organizations for better quality implementation of SRHR services. S/he is responsible to support quality programme implementation, maintain documentation of project`s learning and good practices at field level. Maintain sound working relationship with different stakeholders and partner organizations (PHD, SKUS, Mukti Cox`s Bazar and HOPE Foundation) for better quality implementation of SRHR services.

∎ Duration : 26 Months (July 2022 to August 2024)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will be responsible for promoting gender transformative approach to SRHR.
∎ Responsible for ensuring quality program delivery of the sexual and reproductive health rights in respective program area.
∎ Ensure the mainstreaming of CP, Disability Inclusion in the program area.
∎ Ensure gender equality and the rights of adolescent girls.
∎ Provide timely delivery of SRHR activities..
∎ Ensure quality and timely reporting and documenting of project activities including preparation of quarterly/yearly program progress reports;
∎ Identify and understand needs of other key stakeholders including service providers,
∎ Formulate an effective and efficient SRHR strategy and implementation plan;
∎ Deliver and facilitate workshops and training to provide evidence based advocacy on SRHR and generate awareness on the benefits of including improved SRHR services among key stakeholders;
∎ Document lessons learnt from making SRHR services.
∎ Assist to Referral system for basic and comprehensive Reproductive Health support services
∎ Support to provide health education materials including IEC materials, awareness session with women and adolescent.
∎ Work in health facility to provide RH services as needed.
∎ Support to organize all kinds of trainings SRH, prenatal care, post-natal care (PNC), delivery care, family planning and health education
∎ Support the coordination of surveys, assessments, Data and information collection.
∎ Supervise field-based Mentor/Facilitators with the support of Project Coordinator and others project staffs.
∎ Linkage, coordination and collaboration with relevant government, non-government department, national, International and UN agency.
∎ Organize and conduct Meeting, training, workshop and advocacy with relevant stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 2 years' experience in the field of SRHR.
∎ Sound knowledge on SRHR and advocacy with relevant government stakeholders.
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
∎ Excellent communication skills including writing and speaking skill in English
∎ Basic IT skill (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
