Job Context:
∎ POPI invites application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the following position for its Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP) supported by PKSF. Working areas of the project are 3 Upazillas (Bhairab, Bajitpur & Kuliarchar) of Kishoregonj District.
∎ Location of posting : Bhairab upazila under Kishoreganj district
∎ Contract duration : Three years
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the MEs for new design development, pattern making & grading with shoe master software.
∎ Support selected MEs to set up efficient production system.
∎ Extend support to the project to set up and run an effective common service center.
∎ Train MEs to have modern production system.
∎ Help MEs to identify modern and effective technologies and materials to be introduced for better production, improved products and design.
∎ Assists MEs to identify new market opportunities.
∎ Support project to establish permanent waste disposal system in selected clusters.
∎ Assists MEs to identify energy savings and environment-friendly production system.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2-3 years working experiences about new design development, pattern making and grading with the shoe master software in thefootwear industry.
∎ Candidates must have experience about footwear production process.
∎ Candidates with experiences in donor-funded development projects would be preferred.
∎ Must have good understanding on small scale footwear production system.
∎ Experience with rural and peri-urban production clusters will be considered as an added advantage.
∎ Should be aware of the environment friendly production system.
Salary:
∎ BDT.30,000/- and other admissible benefits.
