Job Context:
∎ Duration: 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 (Possibility for extension)
∎ Job location: Ukhiya under Cox`s Bazar
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare monthly individual work plan and ensure proper implementation of the Project's Monthly Action Plan
∎ Provide technical guidance and hands on support to the support teachers to address their challenges in implementing inclusive education by making regular and frequent school visits for quality checking
∎ Ensure proper guide to Program Organizers (PO) and their regular visit of Government Primary School (GPS)
∎ Provide on the job training to the support teacher through measuring performances of both children's learning's' and identifying teachers capacity.
∎ Provide technical input to develop the teachers training short package; ensure implementation of the Training Curriculum.
∎ Develop Training Calendar, Training Schedule with design of training course, conduct teachers training, refreshers and Burmese facilitator's training.
∎ Assessing Teachers Training through follow up.
∎ Communicate regularly with the head teacher and the member of the School Management Committed to support the implementation of School action plan.
∎ Provide support to the headteacher and the SMC for the effective operation of the selected GPS.
∎ Keep local level networks with the different stakeholders and education related organizations and agencies
∎ Provide daily progress information to PC.
∎ Preparing and archiving the monthly report in time
∎ Keep good team works with other key contact personnel like M&E officer and finance and admin dept.
∎ Perform any other assignment given by the project management and the organization.
∎ Keep strong communication and liaison with headteacher, SMC member, Upazilla Education Officers.
∎ Other Duties and Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with all the project team members, promoting a strong & respectful team spirit, ensuring effective communication, and opportunities for debriefing.
∎ Consistently and dedicatedly monitor/assess the safety and security of the team, promptly reporting concerns or incidents to YPSA management and liaising with other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop YPSA programs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 02-03 years' experience in the development field preferably in technical officer
∎ Ability to communicate in local dialect (Chittagonian Dialect).
∎ Ability to write clear and concise reports; case stories in Bangla and English
∎ Sound knowledge of M&E tools and techniques and project cycle management
∎ Excellent planning and analytical skills
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working atmosphere
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, partners, external actors, and allies
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
∎ Deep understanding in technical knowledge on education program
∎ Demonstrated coordination and relationship building skills with community.
∎ Strong ability to respect differences of culture, opinion and lived experiences while upholding children education and right
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, positive and professional attitude, ability to lead and work well in a team setting and with multiple partners.
∎ Strengths in listening, empathy, flexibility, and creativity.
Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
