Job Context:
∎ Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is going to implement the AHP Activation - Protection Crisis Response in Cox`s Bazar. The duration of the project is 11 Months (to be extended). The mentioned position will be recruited for implementing the project.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This is Ukhiya based position with extensive field visit in project areas of Ukhiya and Teknaf upazila
∎ Prepare monthly individual work plan and ensure proper implementation of the Project's Monthly Action Plan
∎ Make regular and frequently field visits for quality checking
∎ Provide on the job training to the teachers through measuring performances
∎ Provide technical input to develop the teachers training short package/ curriculum; deliver to the Training Curriculum implementation at field level;
∎ Develop Training Calendar, Training Schedule with ensuring design of training courses;
∎ Locate, assess, modify and maintain shared and home-based centres to provide flexible weekly non-formal learning opportunities for youth including extra capacity building support to Plan’s front-line educators – Rohingya and host communities
∎ Assessing Teachers Training quality through follow up As per Guideline;
∎ Conduct community dialogue with local leaders, Imams, and parents on the benefits of non-formal education for adolescent girls/boys and young women/men – Rohingya and host communities
∎ Conduct Monthly Refreshers Training at the field level;
∎ Engage local community on developing “safe passage” routes, “walking partners”, and community accountability mechanisms for adolescent girls and young women to safely walk to learning spaces.
∎ Keep local level networks with the different stakeholders
∎ Provide daily progress information to PC;
∎ Prepare the monthly report;
∎ Attend monthly staff meeting;
∎ Participate different events organize by the donor and the organization
∎ Keep good team works with other key contact personnel
∎ to organize and conduct to train facilitators on pedagogy, curriculum (literacy, numeracy, portable skills and life skills) and other relevant issues (including child safeguarding, CP and referral, DRR, PSS, gender and inclusion, adolescent retention techniques and opportunities
∎ Ensure org. visibility/ branding in all aspects.
∎ Visitors dealing based on the situation demand.
∎ Attend local camp meeting
∎ Perform any other assignment given by the project management and the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 52 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Has to be willing to take challenge of working in a participatory approach for Rohingya Community/ Host Community
∎ Good communication, Facilitation and motivational skill.
∎ Understanding of local cultural languages.
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to village level
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Familiar with MS-word, Excel, Power point and internet
∎ Ability to drive motorcycle (optional for women) with valid driving license.
Salary: Tk. 42000 - 52500 (Monthly)
