Experience:
Medical Graduate (MBBS) from an accredited academic institution and recognized & registered by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), preferably with a Master’s in public health (MPH) in Maternal & Child health or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant field experience, including 4-5 years in MNCH activity, preferably in an emergency Health program.
Sound knowledge of the Bangladesh health system; experience in working with the UN and other stakeholders in both development and emergency settings.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work within a tight timeframe,
Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
Excellent analysis and report writing skills is essential.
Skills in prioritizing and organizing the work
Good in written and spoken English.

The Opportunity
The Technical Manager – MNCH will lead and provide strategic technical oversight for the project design, implementation, and quality assurance of MNCH programs, particularly focusing on BEmONC and CEmONC services. This role involves strengthening the diagnostic and clinical staff’s capacity, leading SRH and relevant sector coordination, and supporting public health, epidemiological research, and evidence generation for program improvement and MNCH advocacy. S/he will lead the SC MNCH component and be responsible for the overall MNCH activity supervision, monitoring, and take the initiative for staff capacity building. S/he will involve both external & internal donor reporting. The position holder will support the development of systems for the implementation of referrals for Emergency Obstetrics to the next level of Clinical Care. She will contribute to establishing a data management system for the Hospital as per Save the Children Health Information system standards. This position will not be providing direct patient care and will focus its main efforts on supportive supervision and on-the-job training.
