Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate / Masters Degree or equivalent Diploma from any reputed Foreign and local University.
∎ Preference may be given to candidate possessing Certificate in Garment Manufacturing or Clothing Technology.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The successful candidate should have experience in Product Development and be able to Interpret design sketches
∎ Experience in Pattern Cutting and Pattern correction manually and or CAD.
∎ Fabric Consumption calculation manually and or CAD
∎ Able to fit and alter garments to buyer’s requirements
∎ Manage the Critical Path in each department.
∎ Confident and clear communication skills
∎ Strong in communicating with the customer’s buyers.
∎ Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across all Brands and departments
∎ Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively
∎ Provide direction and technical expertise for the technical team during fitting and sealing
∎ Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation
∎ Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members
∎ Interview candidates and hire them
∎ Conduct performance reviews of team members and identify areas of improvement, give feedback and recommend for promotions and or salary increments
∎ Provide an efficient working atmosphere to the teams and ensure objectives are met within stipulated time
∎ Oversee all the garment technician functions
∎ Be able to handle factories effectively and build relationship with factories
