Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct household survey for the selection of the project participants using the prescribed format developed by the project.
∎ Conduct training for the project participants and follow-up to ensure the learnings from the training are practiced at the household level to ensure availability of fresh vegetable for consumption.
∎ Support to ensure agro-inputs and other assets are distributed among the participants in a timely manner for successful cultivation of vegetable gardens.
∎ Provide technical advice and follow up on the homestead gardening plots and nutrition interventions by visiting the household regularly for effective implementation of the project activities.
∎ Develop work plan for the Community Nutrition Promoters (CNPs) and provide regular follow-up and technical support to implement the planned project interventions, particularly establishing homestead gardening components and nutrition interventions.
∎ Implement innovative and climate-resilient technologies on homestead gardening with the to ensure maximum production of vegetable gardens.
∎ Support to prepare project reports by ensuring project- related data.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

∎ Ensuring technical support and follow up to project beneficiaries to contribute to increasing productivity, reduction of hunger and malnutrition through extending environmentally sustainable agricultural technologies to the host and Rohingya community at Cox’s Bazar district.
