Furthermore, you should have the ability to work with government agencies, NGOs, donors, and other partners to align goals and implement capacity-building strategies and a strong understanding of the project’s technical focus areas e.g., Agriculture and Food Security, Population, Health and Nutrition, Education, and Democracy, Human Rights and Governance.
∎ You should ideally have a minimum of 7 years of experience progressively increasing responsibilities and duties in programs focused on organizational development, multisectoral food and nutrition security programme, grant management, performance improvement, and capacity strengthening for local organizations. You must have a strong grasp of managing operational components on large, complex donor-funded projects (with a strong preference for past USAID-funded project management experience)

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all levels of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and implemented in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ Job Purpose
∎ Bangladesh America Maitree Project, awarded in October 2023 and expected to run for 5 years. The goal of the Maitree Project is to advance broad-based, inclusive, and more sustainable development through strong local partnerships that complement USAID/Bangladesh’s CDCS and development objectives. Under the Maitree Project, BRAC will establish a grant-making mechanism to provide funding to qualifying local recipients through a local, competitive process; increase the organizational capacity of recipient organizations to compete for grants and implement development interventions; and; build the capacity of local organizations to collaborate, build networks, and develop local solutions to development problems.
∎ Currently, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual for the role of Technical Advisor for this project. In this role, You will oversee program implementation and lead capacity-building activities for sub-grantees, focusing on both organizational development and quality programme execution. Moreover, You will play a pivotal role in ensuring meaningful stakeholder participation, coordinating the integration of technical approaches, and supporting the effective sequencing of strategies in partner activities.
