Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Population Science, or relevant discipline.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in SRHR, adolescent health, AFHS, or nutrition-related programs.

  • Proven track record of working with urban health systems and community-based interventions.

  • Experience in developing/adapting training modules, guidelines, and IEC/BCC materials.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and report writing skills.

  • Computer literacy with MS Office and data analysis skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context: The project “Health System Resiliency for Improved SRHR in Bangladesh” aims to strengthen health system resilience in Chittagong City Corporation and selected urban slum areas by improving access to quality Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Adolescent-Friendly Health Services (AFHS), and Nutrition services.

The Technical Advisor – SRHR, AFHS & Nutrition will provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the quality and effectiveness of project interventions. The position requires close coordination with implementing partners, local government institutions, health facilities, and community stakeholders to promote evidence-based practices and build the technical capacity of service providers.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide overall technical guidance on SRHR, Adolescent Friendly Health Services (AFHS), and Nutrition components of the project.
  • Ensure quality standards in project activities, including service delivery, training, and communication materials.
  • Support capacity building of the organizations as well as the partner organization’s staff through technical backstopping and mentoring.
  • Conduct regular field visits for technical monitoring and supervision.
  • Collaborate with government departments, City Corporation, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
  • Prepare technical inputs for project progress reports, donor communication, and documentation of lessons learned.
