Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-graduate degree in Agriculture science
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of working experience in climate smart agriculture specifically saline agriculture.
∎ Proven experience working in a large consortium team and with multiple stakeholders including the public and private sector.
∎ Familiar with bio-physical and socio-economic condition of the ecologically critical areas in Sundarbans.
∎ Experience working in ECA area, specifically Sundarbans area (Satkhira, Khulna & Bagerhat) is highly preferred
∎ Experience in extension work such as demonstration farms/activities on saline agriculture/blue economy with farmers/beneficiaries, alternative livelihood incomes (off farms).
∎ Good understanding on issues of climate change adaptation; gender equity, protection, and multicultural intervention.
∎ good understanding on human centric innovation
∎ Excellent networker and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. Ability to influence for change
∎ Excellent team player, interpersonal communication skill, problem solving skills, strong value-based commitment
∎ Committed to the rights based approach.
∎ Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving capacities.
∎ Ability to manage stress, multi-task and take decisions.
∎ Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point);
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in local language, English and Bangla;
∎ Pro-active and participatory decision-making and problem-solving;
