Job Context:
∎ The Leprosy Mission International-Bangladesh (TLMI-B) is an International Christian faith based organization dealing with causes and consequences of Leprosy & TB, ranging from health and development to advocacy and empowering community as a partner of Government of Bangladesh to achieve its long term strategy and goal.
∎ TLMI-B is implementing a TB Control Project for "Strengthening of Tuberculosis care and prevention, with a focus on case finding activities, in Bangladesh", supported by GFATM under The Danish Bangladesh Leprosy Mission Hospital Program(DBLM) of TLMI-B invites application from the suitable candidates to fulfill the following position immediately. This position will be Upazila based at its working areas in Thakurgaon and Panchagarh district.
∎ Job Nature: Contractual (Project based fixed term)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ a) Planning:
∎ Participate in annual planning, prepare monthly action plan and follow.
∎ Plan and prepare quarterly indent for anti -TB drugs and logistics.
∎ b) Implementation:
∎ Responsible for implementation of TB Control activities in assigned area in coordination with govt.
∎ Support increased case notification and treatment of TB patients.
∎ Provide DOT in line with treatment category as determined by the physician in line with TB guidelines.
∎ Conduct 8 outreach smearing centers in the catchment, in every month.
∎ Refer regularly, presumptive cases to designated facilities for further diagnosis and management. ? Ensure regular drugs and diagnostic supplies to Volunteers/DOT providers.
∎ Ensure DOT through follow-up every patient and the DOT provider, once in a fortnight
∎ Maintain contact tracing register for active case findings & refer presumptive to nearby diagnostic facility.
∎ Ensure appropriate storage of drugs and logistics to maintain optimum quality.
∎ Actively participate in monthly and quarterly meetings.
∎ Maintain different forms, cards, registers and related documents.
∎ c) Monitoring, supervision and coordination:
∎ Maintain regular coordination with related stakeholders.
∎ Assist in different monitoring visits.
∎ d) Reporting and dissemination:
∎ Prepare and maintain all related reports regularly.
∎ Ensure proper recordings and reporting.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1 year of experience in related field and/or area of health programme operation.
∎ Knowledge on TB and Leprosy is essential.
∎ Ability to work with independently and in a team.
∎ Good Interpersonal, oral and written Communication skill.
∎ Computer Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be given preference.
∎ The candidate should be willing to ride on motor cycle and have a motor driving valid license.
∎ Age-not exceeding 35 years.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Consolidated Salary BDT. 25,000.00
