Job Responsibilities:
∎ Server Security: Implement and maintain state-of-the-art security measures to protect servers from cyberattacks, malware, and unauthorized access.
∎ System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, updates, patches, and upgrades for Windows and Linux servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
∎ Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize server performance, including resource allocation, load balancing, and capacity planning.
∎ Software Installation: Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications on both Windows and Linux servers.
∎ Clustering and Replication: Implement and manage server clustering, DC\DR, RAID configurations, and data replication for high availability and redundancy.
∎ HSM Management: Administer Hardware Security Modules to safeguard cryptographic keys and ensure data integrity.
∎ Network Devices: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches (Management, Leaf, Core), firewalls, and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), ensuring they function optimally.
∎ Network Topology: Design and implement network topologies, including WAN, MAN, LAN, VLAN, and VPN setups, to ensure a secure and efficient network environment.
∎ Cabling and Racks: Oversee the organization of racks, cabling, and physical network infrastructure to minimize cable clutter and optimize physical network connections.
∎ Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve system and network-related issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
∎ Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and services.
∎ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and network architecture.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience as a Network and Systems Engineer with a strong focus on server security and maintenance.
∎ In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
∎ Expertise in server clustering, RAID configurations, and data replication.
∎ Hands-on experience with network devices, including routers, firewalls, and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
∎ Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
∎ Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
∎ Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, Linux+) are a bonus.
∎ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
∎ Strong communication and documentation skills.
