Job Summary:
Gakk Media (BD) Limited is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Android Developer to join our growing mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Android app development, a passion for clean and efficient coding, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for building high-performance Android applications integrated with scalable backend systems that reach millions of users.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop advanced Android applications.
Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams to implement new features.
Maintain performance, code quality, and responsiveness of existing apps.
Identify performance bottlenecks and fix bugs efficiently.
Convert wireframes or UI/UX sketches into functional app interfaces.
Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based services into apps.
Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends and tools.
Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and innovation.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Kotlin (preferred) and Java.
Strong understanding of OOP and software design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP).
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling WebSocket connections.
· Familiarity with Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Push Notifications, and Analytics)
Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing (TDD).
Good grasp of UI/UX design and Android Jetpack components.
Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
